Årsunda – “Fiddlers’ meet”
Saturday 6 June.
14.00 Årsunda Hembygdsgård
Glorious folk music will be heard all over, in every corner and behind every bush at this traditional “fiddlers’ meet” for musicians on all instruments. As a visitor you are an important part of the day, and you are welcome to participate by playing yourself or just be here listening. On site we have Årsunda Folk music trio with Gunnar Persson (accordion), Göran Hed (clarinet) and Anders Lindborg (fiddle).
All-play
We get started with some well-known tunes from the province of Gästrikland, and play until our fingers are warm.
Play to dance
The stage of the dance area will be open for solo musicians and groups who wish to play for the dance.
Performance
Musicians wishing to perform for a listening audience can do so in the courtyard garden in front of ”storstugan”.
Jamming, “Buskspel”
Find a musician friend and settle down to play in one of the buildings at “hembygdsgården”- or why not try the arbor – and play like never before.
Refreshments available at “hembygsgården”.
Free entry for playing musicians.
Entry for the public 50 SEK.
